Marshall Dallas is the group’s founder and Managing Director and has enjoyed an impressive career in the hotel industry spanning over 25 years. Starting in London, Marshall worked for the acclaimed hotel group Trust House Forte gaining operational experience and training at The Cavendish and Waldorf hotels. His personal drive, attention to detail and passion for the industry was swiftly recognized by the organisation resulting in his first management position in the Kensington Close Hotel.
Marshall’s career grew with integrity, gaining momentum working for organisations such as Holiday Inns. As food and beverage manager, he was formally recognized by the company for his leadership skills when his restaurant team and kitchen brigade achieved and retained a Michelin Star at the hotels Shoppenhangers Manor restaurant in Maidenhead.
His quality experience was enhanced by securing the role of Food and Beverage Manager at the inspiring Gleneagles hotel in Perthshire. After 3 successful years there Marshall joined Queens Moat House UK Ltd [QMH] where he combined his quality hotel experience with a passion for producing exceptional operating profits. In his seven years with QMH he achieved many accolades including “General Manager of the Year” and “Hotel of the year” in 2000.
He was then head hunted by Macdonald Hotels where as General Manager he transformed the 200 bedroom Roxburghe Hotel in Edinburgh city centre. Over a three year period the hotel’s operating profit grew by an impressive 43%. Marshall continued on his path of success delivering outstanding profits for the company and his role expanded into Management Contracts Director. He took charge of The Macdonald Holyrood hotel in Edinburgh, The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate and Savil Court Hotel in Egham in addition to maintaining responsibility for the Roxburghe.
In July 2007, Marshall resigned from Macdonald Hotels to start Bravara Management Limited.
Marshall has been married to his wife Joanne for 10 years and the couple have 2 Children, Eva aged 7 and Andrew aged 5.
